About me
Ed is currently a Trooper & Flight Paramedic with the Maryland State Police and maintains his Athletic Training certification and Alpine Ski Patrol certification. Ed is very active with the US Ski and Snowboard teams as a medical provider and was a medical provider to Team USA for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. Ed is Co-Owner of Sports Medicine Emergency Management (SMEM, LLC) who provide a wide variety of emergency care training to sports medicine providers around the country. Ed continues to be a nationally recognized speaker for Emergency Care, Emergency Action Planning and other topics for athletic trainers around the country. Ed has molded his passions for Athletic Training, Emergency Medicine and Law Enforcement into some timely topics and brings a very unique perspective to these talks because of these experiences.
