Sports Medicine Advisory Council (SMAC) Meeting: Emergency Care Training and Rehearsal for the Preparatory School Student-Athlete

Ed Strapp, FP-C, TP-C, NRP, LAT, ATC & Jenna Turner, FP-C, TP-C, NRP, faculty from Sports Medicine Emergency Management, LLC., will deliver evidence-informed didactic presentations and guide competency-based skills training sessions targeting athletic trainers and other interdisciplinary healthcare providers treating the preparatory school student-athlete. Topics include emergency action planning consistent with the most recent NATA position statement, upper extremity luxation reduction techniques, emergency wound care, and planning for an active assailant situation.
